Grand Hotel Morning Print
Certain locations really take you back. My grandmother and I forever dreamed of a stateroom and morning tea at the Grand Hotel. We spent many summers on it’s steps looking longingly at it’s gloriously magical charm. “Someday, we’ll stay there.” Old photos resurface in photo boxes of the nearby shoreline, featuring grainy shots of the water flowing through my tiny fingertips as I dipped my hands in. Sand in my tiny tan sandals, enveloped in bear hugs on the beach. She made this place a second home. Visiting the shores of Mackinac Island are a splendor meant to be cherished forever.
